Tufted Rug collection by Mineheart
Mineheart will be launching a new printed “tufted rug” range at ICFF in New York. The collection features new designs by Himitsuhana and Young & Battaglia.
Himitsuhana has been inspired by the traditional style of Japanese geisha to create this striking image which features a strong black and white portrait pierced by the vivid red of her lipstick creating a stunning contrast.
Reminiscent of Pre-Raphaelite portraits featuring enchanted flowing haired models in pastoral scenes, Himitsuhana has chosen calming tones of purple, mauve and cream for this flower portrait that celebrates the beauty of the natural world.
Ideal for those wanting to bring a little detail to a monochromatic master bedroom, this colour way surprises by incorporating the floral and patterned detail of the traditional woven Persian rug but without the bright colours. The subtle tones of dark grey, black and white make this a sophisticated choice.
A wonderful blend of blues from navy to aquamarine are combined in this design with the bright yellow polka dots looking like patches of sunshine cast through a window, highlighting the complex details of the flower motif.
Graypants creation at ICFF 2016
It’s only taken the Graypants team seven years to get here. Building upon the original cardboard Scraplight series was no easy feat. It required imagination and endless hours of trial and error. Prototypes gathered on their shelves, but none matched the visions in their creative heads. Refusing to compromise, the team pushed through the obstacles and are proud to bring you the long-awaited series, Scraplight white.
The Scraplight white series pushed the collaboration between the Graypants Seattle and Amsterdam studios to new levels. Through intensive research, development and dedication, the team was able to build upon the solid foundation of their original Scraplight series. Using custom-made pure white corrugated cardboard and precision cut on advanced machinery, Graypants finally achieved the bright, modern glow always imagined. The crisp translucency perfectly contrasts the rustic warmth of the original Scraplights, making them a chic alternative for a variety of spaces.
