Further to the incredible growth of the design community in China and the palpable demand for an international event, Design China Beijing took place in the remarkable China National Agricultural Exhibition Center. The six-day international trade fair united influential interior designers and architects, hotel groups and property developers to discover the latest trends in the design industry from 80 leading brands and galleries both domestic and international. The most striking expositions and art display were presented by Chinese, Portuguese and Italians.
Number one was the modern furniture design by Boca Do Lobo and Portuguese Covet Group presented by DAISY COLLECTION – one of the most influential asset management groups in China. The handcrafted pieces including tables, sideboards, mirrors, and accessories for bathrooms were displayed in the most coveted atmosphere.
Another participant from Portugal – the talented designer Ana Fatia – impressed the audience with her curious mind and furniture collection inspired in the human anatomy.
The House of Tai Ping graced the floor of the Design China Beijing with bespoke rugs and handmade woven carpets. Headquartered in Hong Kong and having 15 showrooms across Europe, Asia, and America, Tai Ping has won international recognition for its innovative design and superior quality.
One of the top Italian brands – Mechini, famous for its handicraft lighting and accessories presented the variety of finishes including Swarovski crystals and pearls, Murano glass, ceramics, gold and silver foil to inspire the best home interior ideas.
100% “Made in Italy” values and contemporary design were highlighted by Tonin Casa. Master bedroom ideas and modern furniture solutions under the motto of combined elegance and functionality were presented to the forward-looking design community.
