January 20th marked the ending of the 2018 edition of IMM Cologne, and to say our farewell to this remarkable international interiors show, we present you some highlights so you can have an idea of how great this edition was. Boca do Lobo & brabbu
Boca do Lobo always has been fascinated by the reinterpretation of the past through technology and contemporary practice. Each piece has a unique, timeless character, revealing an attention to the smallest details and the Robin mirror and the Empire center table are no exception.
Birkenstock
Birkenstock, a brand known for its comfortable sandals, wants to bring to comfort to the night shift. Launching a series of six comfortable beds at IMM Cologne, the brand wants to push it to the furniture world. With a cushioned headboard, the upholstered Montreal comes with a sold oak base with the same pattern as Birkenstock shoe soles, and a mattress with hi-tech cork-latex layer that bounces back to its original shape once weight is lifted from it.
Mid-century tables by Hans Bølling
Danish company Brdr. Krüger is producing the Triiio table collection for the first time. Originally sketched out by the influential Danish architect Hans Bølling in 1958, the tables come in coffee, side and dining versions.

Delightfull
Providing the perfect arrangement between mid-century and industrial design, DelightFULL and Essential Home’s stand at IMM cologne 2018 were a must see this year.
MUUTO
Launching at IMM Cologne this year, was presented as a contemporary take on the traditional table mirror by the Scandinavian brand Muuto as they were inspired by the pattern often observed in barber shops.

An exciting design-week has come to an end! From exceptional light staging in Lucie Koldova's "Das Haus" to current smart home solutions to the new Pure Architects concept hall – apart from the products themselves, the imm cologne 2018 provided a multitude of exciting inspiration for contemporary living environments.
