Born in Nantes, Patrick Jouin is recognized as one of the best interior and product designers of his generation. During his career, he collaborated with big names in the design world as Philippe Starck and has been created and produced unique design projects and furniture pieces under his own name since 1998: Master Bedroom Ideas presents some of these creative and striking works by Patrick Jouin where modernity is the principal actor.
Hotel Eden in Rome, an iconic property that was revamped by world-renowned architect and interior designers Bruno Moinard and Claire Betaille of 4BI & Associés, together with Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku from Jouin Manku.
Patrick Jouin is a top interior and product designer whose creativity finds an expression in industrial design in the decorative arts. Inside these bedrooms design projects, there are lines between architecture and design that cease to exist. Each modern bedroom design project created by him presents every aspect of a space, from ceiling height to door handle. Patrick Jouin loves to share an opportunity to demonstrate a combined vision of objects, spaces, and structures.
Manda Bed for Busnelli
With a wooden structure, this double bed with an upholstered headboard was designed by Patrick Jouin for Busnelli. As a synthesis of refinement and elegance, this modern bed is characterized by balanced volumes and slightly embracing headboard. The structure, that can be disassembled, is made of solid ash wood. The contemporary headboard structure is curved plywood and the base is made entirely of laminated slats in beechwood.
Manda Bedside Table for Busnelli
This rectangular marble bedside table was also designed by Patrick Jouin: a wooden structure, minimal on purpose, with a hidden frontal drawer, combines with a leather top that hides an integrated compartment, with a flap door, predisposed for the passage of cables. This modern furniture piece is characterized by great compositional versatility: doors, drawers, and shelves combine harmoniously shape and function.
